Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Artedomus website and your purchase of goods from us. By accessing this site or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use this site.

1. About Us

Artedomus ("we," "us," "our") is a New Zealand-based retailer. All references to consumer protections in these Terms are made under New Zealand law.

2. Use of This Website

You must be at least 18 years old, or have the consent of a parent/guardian, to place an order.
You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating an account or placing an order.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account login details and for all activity under your account.
We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel orders, or terminate accounts at our discretion, including where we suspect fraudulent or unauthorised use.

3. Products and Pricing

We make every effort to display product colours, materials, and dimensions accurately. As noted in our Materials & Finishes Policy, natural variation between pieces is expected and not considered a defect.
All prices are listed in New Zealand dollars (NZD) and include GST unless otherwise stated.
We reserve the right to correct pricing errors at any time, including after an order has been placed, and will notify you before proceeding if this occurs.
Product availability is not guaranteed until an order is confirmed.

4. Orders and Payment

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase, which we may accept or decline.
Payment must be received in full (or as otherwise agreed in writing) before goods are dispatched.
We accept payment methods as displayed at checkout. All transactions are processed securely.

5. Shipping and Delivery

We currently ship within New Zealand only.
Estimated delivery timeframes are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays caused by carriers, weather, or circumstances outside our control are not our responsibility.
Risk in the goods passes to you upon delivery.

6. Returns, Refunds, and Warranty

Our Return and Refund Policy, including Warranty Against Defect terms, forms part of these Terms and applies to all purchases.

7. Consumer Guarantees

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights you may have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986 that cannot lawfully be excluded. Where permitted by law, our liability for a failure to meet a consumer guarantee is limited to the remedies set out in our Warranty Against Defect terms.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and designs — is owned by or licensed to Artedomus and may not be reproduced, distributed, or used without our prior written consent.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Artedomus is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or purchase of our products, except where such liability cannot be excluded under New Zealand law.
